Vincenzo Italiano set to remain at Fiorentina for the next season

Even a few days ago, there were clouds of uncertainty hovering over the future of the Vincenzo Italiano, but the situation appears to be improving.

Today’s print edition of La Nazione claims that Vincenzo Italiano is ready to spend his 2022/23 season sitting on the dugout of Fiorentina.

It is suggested that there is no likelihood of Italiano leaving La Viola this summer as he is determined to see out the two-year project he had agreed to before penning a contract with the club last summer.

Though, the situation regarding his contract extension has not improved drastically. The boss is currently on a vacation and will return to the club soon. He will reportedly take the final calls and set the seasonal goals after seeing the squad assembled for the 2022/23 campaign.

It was reported a few days ago that there was a chance of Italiano parting ways with his current employers this summer. According to the latest report, that possibility has lessened.

But the stalemate over the reported contract renewal persists. The manager has the existing terms at La Viola until June 2023, but his fantastic performances have led the Fiorentina management to offer the manager a renewal offer.
