West Ham press for Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca and enquire about Napoli’s Hirving Lozano

West Ham have continued to press for the signing of Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca despite being close to signing Chelsea’s Armando Broja.

Marco Conterio has reported that West Ham are not stopping with the fact that they could sign Broja this summer and are continuing to pursue the signature of Scamacca as well. In the meantime, they have also tested the waters for the potential signing of Napoli’s Hirving Lozano.

For a fee of €40 million plus bonuses, Sassuolo would consider selling Scamacca – especially considering that they have already signed Agustin Alvarez and Alessio Dionisi is looking to play a 4-3-3 shape regularly next season. For the striker role, Alvarez and Giacomo Raspadori could compete but the Neroverdi would need a right-winger.

Paris Saint-Germain have previously tried signing Scamacca but they could not meet the asking price set by Sassuolo. Arsenal had also made an offer for the Italian earlier this summer.
