Al Ahli in talks to sign Napoli’s Piotr Zielinski

Saudi Arabia side Al Ahli are making keen attempts to land Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski this summer.

In recent days, Al Ahli have been linked with a move for Roma’s Roger Ibañez and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and they are now making other moves too.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Zielinski is a keen target for them and Al Ahli have presented an offer to Napoli for the Polish midfielder. Talks between the two clubs are ongoing, so that an agreement is potentially reached, with Zielinski’s current deal at the Maradona running out in the summer of 2024.

As things stand, Al Ahli want to agree a fee with Napoli as soon as possible and if they don’t sign Zielinski, they will end up going for Marcos Llorente, who has been linked with the Middle East club already.

Zielinski was linked with a move away from Napoli some weeks ago, as Juventus tried to sign him but a move didn’t materialise.
