Al-Ahli make offer for Napoli’s Piotr Zielinski

Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli have now made an offer for Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski, who is likely to depart the Partenopei this summer.

Zielinski has been linked with Lazio and Juventus in recent weeks and while Saudi interest was reported earlier today, an offer has been made.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Al-Ahli have now made the offer for the Polish midfielder, who is yet to renew his Napoli deal which is expiring in the summer of 2024. Al-Ahli have put forward the offer to the player and to Napoli.

Napoli currently want €25 million to sell the player, who won the Serie A last season and has become a leader for the side in recent years. If the move does go through, Zielinski would join the duo of Roberto Firmino and Eduoard Mendy at Al-Ahli but it remains to be seen if another midfielder in Serie A wants to head to the Middle East, with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic having already made that decision.
