La Liga outfits Atletico Madrid are very keen on the idea of signing star Milan full-back Theo Hernandez as a reinforcement within the back-line.
Sky Sports reports, via MilanNews, that the Colchoneros are intrigued by Hernandez and view him as an ideal signing to fill the gap within the full-back position as a result of the departure of Renan Lodi to Premier League side Nottingham Forrest.
However, Milan are far from willing to sell the 25 year-old as they are only considering transfer bids around the region of €80m for the French international.
The Diavolo have no intention of selling another core player following the agreement reached with Newcastle for the sale of Sandro Tonali earlier today.
Hernandez managed to hit spectacular form last season, amassing four goals and three assists within last year’s Serie A campaign.
With Milan placing such a high price-tag on the left-footed defender, it may complicate negotiations for Ateltico Madrid to seize one of their primary targets.
