Sofyan Amrabat will stay in Florence this winter despite interest from Barcelona in the World Cup revelation.
In the last few hours, it was reported by multiple sources that Barcelona were making moves for 26-year-old Sofyan Amrabat. However, according to Alfredo Pedullร , this is not true. He reports that Fiorentina have not received any offer from the Spanish side. Even if a bid arrived, thereโs no way that La Viola would be prepared to let Amrabat leave on deadline day. In the summer, it could be a different story.
Pedullร states that Fiorentina is maintaining the same position as they took when Leicester were interested in Nico Gonzรกlez. The Foxesย made a โฌ34 million bid for the Argentinian, but Fiorentina were not prepared to sell one of their most important players. La Violaย are currently 12th in Serie A, but in the race for a European spot, as well as still being in the Conference League. Gonzรกlez and Amrabat are obviously crucial in Fiorentinaโs push for success this season.ย
Earlier today, Gianluca Di Marzio reported that Fiorentina had rejected an offer of โฌ40 million from Barcelona for Amrabat. Even though the side from Florence are not willing to let the Moroccan go, he still skipped training this morning.ย
