Christophe Galtier makes hefty salary demand to Napoli amidst Premier League interest

Current Paris Saint-Germain boss Christophe Galtier has now made a hefty salary demand to Napoli.

Il Mattino today have reported that while Galtier is the leading candidate to become the next Napoli boss, his lawyer Olivier Martin has communicated his desires to the Partenopei. He has told Napoli that Galtier’s contract will soon be terminated at Paris Saint-Germain, with Al Duhail and a Premier League club also interested in signing him.

But Galtier likes Napoli as a destination and he is giving priority to the Partenopei, stopping all over negotiations. The agreement between the two parties is still distant, with there being a distance between the length of contract and the salary on offer. He will also earn €6 million from his severance pay at PSG.

In his time at Napoli, Aurelio de Laurentiis has seen only one non-Italian manager at the club and currently, he is left frustrated with the managerial situation since many targets have rejected the club. De Laurentiis and Galtier have already met but the deal is yet to close.
