Erik ten Hag reassures Inter’s André Onana of Manchester United move

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has reassured Inter goalkeeper André Onana that the Red Devils will sign him this summer.

United are yet to make their offer this summer but they have held talks with Inter, with some reports stating that an offer is likely to be on the way.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that while United have briefed to the English press that they are trying to sign Justin Bijlow, there exists a private optimism about a move for Onana even if the price might be higher than what the Red Devils’ first offer would be.

Erik ten Hag wants Onana at the club and he has already spoken to the player, informing him that United will sign him this summer. The English club already have an agreement over salary and personal terms and their first offer will be made early this week. The distance between Inter’s demand and United’s valuation of the player is said to be fairly ‘normal’ at this stage.
