Federico Dimarco set for new Inter contract

Federico Dimarco looks set to be rewarded with a new contract by Inter in the coming weeks. The Italian is currently contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2026 but the new contract is a lucrative deal and is being given for the way that Dimarco has been playing in the last couple of seasons.

As reported by Gazzetta, the deal will see Dimarco double his wages. He currently earns around €2 million a season but after this new deal he will see his wages rise to €4 million.

The midfielder has been an important player in the Inter first team for a while now. He was crucial in their run to the Champions League final last season. The Italian has also started this season strongly, with a goal and three assists in the six Serie A games that he’s played.

He has already matched his assist tally from the whole of last season and thus far has been one of Inter’s most vital players. Having broken through in their own youth setup, Inter will be delighted that Dimarco is making such strides.

The new deal that he will be offered is testament to the level he has been playing at for a while. He is also a decisive player for the Italian national team and at 25 years old, he still has room to reach new heights.
