Turkish side Fenerbahçe have now made an offer to sign Inter striker Edin Džeko in the summer transfer window.
Džeko is currently in Istanbul, as Inter prepare to take on Manchester City in the Champions League final. While there has been talk of the Bosnian being ready to sign a new deal with Inter, Fenerbahçe have now firmed up their interest in the ex-City striker.
Sky Italia report that Fenerbahçe have offered a two-year deal to the veteran striker, who has been vital for Inter in their march till the final. As things stand, the striker wants to stay at Inter and will wait for the Nerazzurri’s contract offer this summer.
The Turkish club are convinced that he will accept the offer but in any case, Džeko will only make a decision about his future after tomorrow’s final in which he is expected to start for Simone Inzaghi’s side.
His current deal runs out at the end of this month.
