Fenerbahçe push to beat Galatasaray in chase for Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo

Fenerbahçe are now pushing in their attempts to agree terms with Nicolo Zaniolo, with Galatasaray already having opened talks with Roma.

While it has been reported that the Giallorossi and Gala are close to reaching an agreement over a fee for Zaniolo, the Turkish club are still far apart when it comes to agreeing a release clause with the player.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported that with Fenerbahçe pushing, they have agreed to pay the release clause that Zaniolo wants. While Claudio Vigorelli did hold a meeting with Gala executives yesterday, they did not agree over a release clause. Fener have entered the race quite strongly yesterday evening and they are willing to offer a higher fee than Gala and are also willing to meet the player’s demands for a release clause.

Fener’s offer to Roma could reach upto €25 million, whereas Gala’s offer is at €20 million plus bonuses. Fener are now pushing to agree a move and beat their arch-rivals in this saga.
