Fiorentina fan group appeal to avoid away trip to Juventus

Fiorentina fan group Curva Fiesole have communicated their desire to boycott La Viola’s away games against Juventus in Turin because for them, the Bianconeri represent an ‘evil’ in football.

Watching Fiorentina’s away games at Juventus would mean buying tickets from the official Bianconeri website and Curva Fiesole, following the points deduction imposed on the Old Lady, have appealed to other Fiorentina fans to not attend the tie anymore. Getting tickets for the game would mean getting a Juventus membership as well.

In a press release that they have published, Fiesole go onto state: “We will NEVER accept the conditions imposed by those who have always represented the absolute evil of football. We will NEVER pay these insane amounts to watch their dirty show. We will NEVER be willing to register on the official Juventus website, as explicitly required to purchase tickets. “

The statement from the fan group further states: “We therefore invite all Viola fans to boycott the away game in Turin. The time has come to give a strong signal to the ‘owners’ who have made this sport a business.”

Fiorentina take on Juventus on the 12th of February and the reverse fixture had ended 1-1. As of now, due to Juve’s points deduction, Fiorentina are only one point ahead of the Bianconeri in the table – despite their 2-1 loss to Bologna.
