Premier League side Brentford have had another offer rejected by Fiorentina for winger Nico Gonzalez.
The Bees had previously made an initial offer for Gonzalez but the player had pegged back the approach and a new offer of over €40 million has been made by the Premier League side.
FirenzeViola state that Gonzalez will not leave La Viola this summer and Brentford’s offer came through an intermediary who is working with them. But the Artemio Franchi-based club have already pegged back the offer.
Gonzalez will play for the club against Rapid Vienna in the UEFA Conference League game yesterday and his stay at the club is no doubt, as things stand. While things can always change in the transfer window, his exit isn’t a possibility right now.
Last summer, Leicester City had come calling for Gonzalez but that move also didn’t go through as the Argentine played in the Conference League final last season.
