Serie A side Fiorentina will not sell their winger Nico Gonzalez, amidst an offer from Premier League side Leicester City.
The Foxes, it has been reported, have put in a considerable bid for the Argentina international, who was not part of the World Cup squad because of an injury. But he has now returned to action for La Viola, having scored a late winner against Sassuolo recently.
Alfredo Pedulla though, has provided some updates and further information about the situation of the Argentine, stating that no offer has been made by the Foxes yet and the news that has broken out is only a leak from an intermediary. On top of that, the reporter writes that even if an offer does arrive, La Viola have no intention of selling the Argentine.
The journalist goes on to brand the news of a bid as ‘sensationalism’ and that Fiorentina don’t want to do another Dusan Vlahovic in January.
