Turkish giants Galatasaray have now all but sealed the deal for Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo and it could go through tomorrow, if all things go right.
Despite the earthquake in Turkey and the crisis following that, Zaniolo is edging closer to Gala and Alfredo Pedulla reports that despite Fenerbahce’s insistence, Gala have held on. They have emerged as a much more viable option for Zaniolo.
The Italian will sign a multi-year deal worth €3.7 million per season plus bonuses and Roma will earn a total of €20 million from the sale. It will be an initial €16 million deal plus bonuses of €4 million. His release clause will be 35 million and it will be available to be activated in the summer.
Tomorrow, Zaniolo’s agent Claudio Vigorelli will fly to Rome to finalise the move involving the Giallorossi and after that, Zaniolo will be free to travel to Istanbul for his welcome and medical. The presence of former Serie A players at Gala has been key to Zaniolo’s preference.
