Genoa interested in Manchester United’s Donny van de Beek

Serie A side Genoa are interested in the possibility of signing Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek.

The newly promoted side have agreed a deal with Tottenham for Tanguy Ndombele but there were said to be doubts from the player’s end about the move.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Ndombele is not convinced about Genoa as his destination as he wants to play in the Champions League next season and that isn’t something Genoa offer.

The newly promoted side are looking at Van de Beek and could attempt to sign the Dutchman on a loan deal, with Lorient linked with the midfielder earlier today. Another alternative to Ndombele happens to be Galatasaray midfielder Berkan Kutlu, for whom contact has already been made.

It remains to be seen if they can bring Van de Beek to the club, as the former Ajax man seems destined to depart the club this summer.
