Serie A Champions are likely to make a late move to potentially land Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.
Amrabat has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, but the Red Devils haven’t made an offer which fits La Viola’s valuation of the player.
La Gazzetta dello Sport today state that Fiorentina will look to sign one midfielder late in the window and it could be one of Amrabat or Lucas Torreira, with the move for the Morocco international looking more likely. Amrabat is said to be their dream signing for that midfield spot, as things stand.
The Partenopei could offer an initial loan deal with the obligation to buy the 26-year-old permanently, just so both clubs take some sort of advantage of the deal. Relations between Aurelio de Laurentiis and Fiorentina owner Rocco Commisso are excellent but the move could come down to Amrabat’s willingness to move. He is tempted by the idea of playing for Manchester United and in the Premier League, but the next 48 hours are expected to be vital when it comes to Amrabat’s future.
