Italy legend Gianluigi Buffon is reportedly tempted by an offer from an undisclosed Saudi Arabian football club.
According to a report by Gianluca di Marzio for Corriere Della Serra, Gianluigi Buffon is now considering continuing his illustrious footballing career and is keen on a move to Saudi Arabia for a final big payday.
Earlier, it was reported that the 45-year-old might finally hang up his boots this summer but the offer from the Middle East seems to be a very tempting one. The Saudi Arabian clubs have gone on a terrific buying spree this transfer window and it is no doubt that they will wrap up any opportunity to bring limelight to their league.Â
Buffon made 18 appearances with Serie B side Parma last season and even though he has a contract with them until the end of the next campaign, he was expected to consider his retirement but things have changed recently.Â
The Juventus legend will take the next 24-48 hours to evaluate the offer from Saudi Arabia and will communicate his final decision soon.
