Inter’s Curva Nord slam Romelu Lukaku before Roma clash: “Infamous, digusting”

Inter take on Roma later today in the Serie A and the Nerazzurri’s Curva Nord have slammed Romelu Lukaku, ahead of the game.

Lukaku has been in fine form for the Giallorossi since joining on loan from Chelsea, scoring eight times in ten appearances for the club. His impact has been rather obvious to see, but Inter ultras had initially planned to give him a vociferous welcome during the game.

They had planned to take about 30,000 whistles inside the San Siro, so that they could whistle at the player whenever he got the ball. But the authorities have denied permission to carry whistles inside.

Now the Curva Nord have made their anger for the Belgian clear. They displayed a banner in the city (via TMW) and it said: “Infamous, disgusting man. Milan is waiting for you.”

This isn’t the first time that the Curva Nord have expressed their anger against Lukaku, who had refused to receive calls from the Nerazzurri when the club was making efforts to land him again in the summer. He ended up joining Roma, as Juventus failed to make their move.
