The agent of Milan’s Rafael Leão – Jorge Mendes, recently spoke to Real Madrid for his Portuguese client.
Luca Bianchin reported about Leão’s situation in his recent piece for La Gazzetta dello Sport and it has been reported that his contract situation at the Rossoneri has reached a stalemate. Milan certainly intend to extend his deal at the club and there is an expectation that talks for a new deal will be held again between April and June, with the Rossoneri expected to wait after having previous offer rejected.
In the meantime, Mendes is operating with caution in the background. About last month, the super-agent spoke to Real Madrid about the Milan star to understand if there is any interest from Los Blancos. As of now though, anything involving Real Madrid and Leão is quite unlikely, as the Spanish giants already have Vinicius and have other moves lined up in the summer.
Leão is said to be quite attached to the Rossoneri – despite having rejected the previous offer, but he is now waiting for the next offer from the club.
