Jose Mourinho not at risk of Roma exit despite poor form

There is currently no risk of Jose Mourinho leaving Roma despite the club’s rather poor run of form.

Roma’s form is currently poor, with the Giallorossi having won just once in the Serie A and their tally of five points in six games is the worst start to the season in Mourinho’s entire career.

Corriere della Sera state today that despite a very poor start to the campaign, there is no risk of Mourinho being sacked and the Friedkins are not considering that possibility. Mourinho himself isn’t considering resigning from the post, at least for now as his contract runs out in the summer of 2024. Tiago Pinto’s contract also runs out in the summer of 2024.

Roma’s next games are against Frosinone and Cagliari and they will be key in making sure that Roma turn things around. That is seen as one key reason for why Roma want to keep Mourinho, who is looking to make sure that the side qualifies for the top four and qualifies for the Champions League and that the club’s form improves soon.
