Juventus continue to keep tabs on Atletico Madridโ€™s Alvaro Morata

Serie A giants Juventus are still interested in Atletico Madridโ€™s Alvaro Morata and continue to keep tabs on the Spaniard.

Daniele Longo has reported that due to his performances in the Champions League, Atletico Madridโ€™s relationship with Morata has strengthened as he seemed destined for the exit door in the summer. The pressure on Morataโ€™s entourage has now increased to renew his contract till the summer of 2027 and there is confidence that a renewal could be done.

But there has always been a sense of warmth between Morata and Juve, with Cristiano Guintoli said to be a big admirer of the Spaniard and it isnโ€™t related to Morataโ€™s previous spell at the Bianconeri. Guintoli had tried to land the Spaniard during his time at Napoli and it seems likely that he tries the same for Juve.

Evaluations will be made at the end of the season, with the ex-Chelsea man not expected to depart in January. Juve are keeping tabs on the fact that Morataโ€™s contract runs out in the summer and if Dusan Vlahovic ends up leaving, the Spaniard could be his replacement.
