Juventus could be handed further points deduction

Serie A side Juventus could be handed a further points deduction sentence today.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have stated the list of possibilities that could transpire today, with the Bianconeri having reached an agreement with FIGC over a settlement regarding their salary maneuver case. After an internal meeting at the club, the decision about the second Old Lady case is now expected to arrive today.

It is explained that if the Federal Court accepts the agreement, the punishments will waivered by a third. If not, Old Lady could face a significant fine. They could be deducted further points. There is a possibility that they face a points deduction of about two or three points. And if Juve don’t even qualify for the UEFA Conference League and a disqualification from UEFA arrives, it will apply for the 2024/25 season. This means that they could spent two seasons outside European competitions.

Sky Italia have stated that if the settlement is rejected, there could be a further trial. The hearing was initially scheduled for the 15th of June but it has now been brought forward by the club.
