Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović had received racist abuse from Fiorentina fans yesterday and the Serbian responded to it recently.
Juve took on La Viola yesterday and they managed to grab a solid 1-0 win at the Artemio Franchi, thanks a goal from Fabio Miretti in the first half. Before the game, the striker was racially abused and even the cameras caught the racist from La Viola faithfuls, despite the fact that Vlahovic plied his trade with the club not long ago.
Whiel the Serbian didn’t score, the Bianconeri remained fairly close to Inter in the table. After the game, the 23-year-old took to Instagram to respond to the racist chanting that took place against him.
His post said: “Regardless of the situation, don’t let your emotions overcome your intelligence.”
This wasn’t the first time that the striker has been racially abused by opposition fans, as even Atalanta fans had done the same towards the end of last season. It also isn’t the first time that La Viola fans have taken to disgusting racial abuse.
