Juventus are interested in Chelsea’s Kalidou Koulibaly and they have initiated initial contact for the ex-Napoli defender.
Fabiana della Valle has reported that while Koulibaly was Juve’s key target in the previous summer transfer window, the player had rejected the chance to move to the Bianconeri because of his ties with Napoli. But due to his struggles in London, Koulibaly’s name is back on the agenda for Juve.
Contact between Max Allegri and Koulibaly has already been made and while it is informal, the Juve boss expressed his desire to have the Senegal international in his team next season. It is stated that Koulibaly has not clarified his desire about moving to Juve but only thanked Allegri for the admiration. But talks with his agent are expected to take place soon, especially since Juve have excellent relations with his agent Fali Ramadani.Â
Allegri has asked Juve to sign a new centre-back for him, to make sure that he has someone alongside Bremer who is an expert at playing at left centre-back.
