Juventus have made initial contact for the potential signing of Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Jesper Lindstrom.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Corriere della Sera) today state that Lindstrom could be a potential option for the Bianconeri if Federico Chiesa departs the club this summer. An enquiry has been made with the German side for the 23-year-old Danish midfielder.
A host of other clubs are also interested in Lindstrom, with Premier League interest in him said to be mounting. Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are keeping tabs on the player, who is valued at €35 million by Eintracht Frankfurt right now.
Lindstrom played 27 times in the Bundesliga last season, scoring seven times and racking up four assists. He was an important part of the side that won the Europa League two seasons ago, as the Eagles beat Rangers in the final. He has already played nine times for the Danish national team and also played in the FIFA World Cup last year.
