Juventus now likely to keep Federico Chiesa

Juventus are now increasingly likely to keep Federico Chiesa at the club unless major late offers arrive for the Italian.

La Gazzetta dello Sport state that there are clear agreements between Juventus and the Italian’s entourage regarding his future. Cristiano Guintoli recently spoke to Chiesa’s agents and they reached an understanding that the player will not leave on a free transfer when his current deal runs out in the summer of 2025.

He will either sign a new deal or he will leave before the summer of 2025. As of now, Juve seem close to keeping him at the club but a big offer can’t be ruled out, even though it seems unlikely. If Juve receive offers in the region of €40 million to €45 million, they will be selling the player but that seems unlikely right now. Because of that, two concrete possibilities linger around for his future – he either signs a short renewal or leaves in the summer of 2024.

It seems quite likely though, that Juve keep the rejuvenated Chiesa, who scored against Udinese in the first game of the campaign last weekend.
