Juventus’ Paul Pogba could be at risk of four-year ban in doping case

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is at risk of a four-year ban, if he is bound guilty of testosterone doping.

The Frenchman’s doping test after the Udinese game produced a positive test for testosterone and La Gazzetta dello Sport have provided more details about the situation.

The midfielder has to produce a counter report that the tests aren’t true and he has been temporarily suspended. But as of now, the player is at risk of a maximum of a four-year ban, but it remains to be seen how the situation pans out.

Jose Palomino was also found guilty of an illegal substance last year but he was later acquitted and returned to action for La Dea.

When it comes to Juve, this positive test comes 22 years after that of Edgar Davids, who was also found guilty at the end of a match between the Bianconeri and Udinese many years ago.
