Juventus’ Paul Pogba picks up fresh muscle injury

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has picked up another injury and he has not been called up for the club’s upcoming Serie A clash against Sampdoria.

The midfielder was initially expected to feature for the club, amidst injuries to both Federico Chiesa and Angel di Maria. But Sky Italia claim that Pogba has picked up a muscle injury and has not been called for the game against Dejan Stankovic’s side later today.

Pogba did undergo training earlier today but when he was finishing the session, he felt something in his muscle and pulled up. As a result, the decision has been made to exclude him from the squad for today’s game.

This comes after Pogba was not part of the squad for the Europa League clash against Freiburg as he had arrived late for training and he has only made two substitute appearances for the Bianconeri so far. He has not made a single start.
