Juventus remain interested in Galatasaray’s Nicolo Zaniolo

Juventus are interested in the possibility of signing Nicolo Zaniolo this summer, having previously looked at the Italian multiple times.

The transfer saga involving Zaniolo in January involved Juventus, who didn’t move for him and neither did the likes of Tottenham, Milan or Bournemouth. The Italian joined Galatasaray and he has impressed for the club in a short period but there is a release clause in his current deal.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported that with Angel di Maria leaving Juventus and doubts around Federico Chiesa’s future, Zaniolo remains a target for the Bianconeri. The club have already indicated their interest in the player, especially considering Milan could now turn to other targets after Paolo Maldini’s exit.

While he has a €35 million release clause, there is room to maneuver with there – it is reported. It remains to be understood what Zaniolo wants for his future, with a return to Italy said to be the top of his list of priorities right now.
