Juventus transfer Prisma investigation trial to Rome

Serie A giants Juventus have taken a small step forward in the ongoing Prisma investigation trial by moving the proceedings to the city of Rome from Turin.

According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus have announced the transfer of the Prisma trial to the court in Rome. This comes as a small victory for the club’s lawyers as they had previously asked the Court of Cassation to move the trial to either Milan or Rome, the city of the stock exchange and the servers of the exchange itself respectively.

The public prosecutors of the case would have liked to keep the case at Turin but the judges of the fifth section of the Court there ordered the transfer due to the territorial incompetence of the region.

The Prisma investigation was initiated by the Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office to explore and charge the club for its false accounting by inflating player transfer values, concealing salary agreements and suspicious deals with agents and other clubs.
