Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to agree pay raise with Napoli amidst Real Madrid interest

Napoli’s phenomenon of the season so far – Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, is expected to agree on a pay raise and will continue with Serie A league leaders for one more season as Real Madrid’s interest in him grows.

According to a report from Daniele Longo, the Partenopei have no intention of listening to offers from interested clubs around Europe for their breakout star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the summer. The Georgian has played a massive role in charging Napoli with a gigantic lead at the top of the Serie A table as they continue to cruise forward to securing the Scudetto for the first time in 30 years.

With 14 goals and 16 assists across all competitions this season, the 22-year-old has emerged as one of the upcoming superstars in the world of football. The winger earns around €1.1 million per season and Napoli have already contacted the player’s agent Mamuka Jugheli in order to renew his contract with a pay raise.

Kvaratskhelia is expected to be offered a total of €3 million in his latest contract and his settled nature at Naples will play a part in his staying in Italy for at least another season.

Among several interested parties, current Champions League title holders, Real Madrid have firmly intended to sign the Georgian star and unless an unprecedented offer of around €100 million comes, Napoli is reluctant to sell him in the summer.

Los Blancos legend Guti sent Napoli’s star man a signed jersey after he claimed that the Spaniard has been his childhood idol. A future for Kvaratskhelia with the 14-times European Champions can be expected at some point but right now or next season, the Neapolitans will hold onto him.
