Lazio are now edging close to sealing a move for Santos striker Marcos Leonardo, for whom the Biancocelesti have increased their initial offer.
Il Messaggero claim that are Lazio are offering a fee of €13 million to Santos, with the Brazilian club now coming very close to accepting that fee. The initial offer from the Roman outfit was lower – at around €10 million, but the latest increase in the move could soon convince Santos about selling the striker.
When it comes to Lazio’s targets in the deeper midfield area, Lucas Torreira is the favourite but the candidacy of Leandro Paredes is also fairly concrete. Riccardo Orsolini is someone the club have launched an enquiry about and Lucas Vazquez is also high up on the club’s shortlist. Gedson Fernandes is liked by the club but his candidacy could become prominent later in the window. Piotr Zielinski is liked a lot by Maurizio Sarri and while he is leaving Napoli, Cristiano Guintoli wants him at Juventus.
