Manchester United are yet to make an official move to sign Inter goalkeeper André Onana.
United did open talks with Inter for the player and Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta confirmed that the club are interested in signing the Cameroon international but they didn’t make an offer.
Corriere della Sera today state that while Marcelo Brozović is close to being sold to Al-Nassr, the money from his sale will be diverted towards the Nerazzurri’s move for Romelu Lukaku. The club already have an agreement in principle with Sassuolo and Davide Frattesi to sign the player but they need finances from Onana’s sale to complete a move for the Italian.
But till last night, United had not made an official offer for the goalkeeper and that is something Inter are currently said to be waiting for since they need that money to sign Frattesi.
United already spoke to Onana’s agent a couple of weeks ago in Manchester and expressed their interest in the goalkeeper.
