Lazio not interested in Ciro Immobile sale despite Saudi Arabia interest

Lazio desire to keep striker Ciro Immobile despite interest from Saudi Arabian clubs.

According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio arenโ€™t interested in listening to offers from Saudi Arabian clubs for the sale of striker Ciro Immobile.ย

Saudi Arabian clubs like Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad have gone on a buying spree this summer to add flair and promise to the Saudi Pro League. It is expected that either of the mentioned clubs approached the 33-year-old during his vacation in New York for a possible transfer in the next few days.

The president of Lazio Claudio Lotito has emphasised that he hasnโ€™t received any offers for Immobile and will do his best to keep the player as he has been crucial to the Biancocelesti in recent years. Lotito said: โ€I havenโ€™t received any offers for Ciro Immobile, he hasnโ€™t told me he wants to leave either.ย We are talking about nothing.ย Ciro is like a son to me, heโ€™s not for sale.ย He is one of the family.ย They should tempt me with at least โ‚ฌ50 million and itโ€™s not even said that I would let him go.โ€

After the departure of Sergej Milinkoviฤ‡-Saviฤ‡, the Middle Eastern clubs tried their hand to bring in another player from Lazio but this time it seems like they will be unsuccessful.ย
