Lazio president Claudio Lotito angry at team after Monza draw

Lazio were held to a draw by Monza on Saturday and club president Claudio Lotito was fuming at the side following the game.

The Biancocelesti have won just once in the Serie A so far and while that win came against Napoli, the performances otherwise have been rather negative from Maurizio Sarri’s side, with the Italian now having to turn around a difficult situation.

Il Messaggero (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) state that Lotito was not pleased with the performance on Saturday and he made his feelings known. He was in the team’s dressing room at the end of the match and called for summer signing Taty Castellanos to be played more often.

He also told the players in the dressing room to change their attitude and turn things around this season, with things not going their way at all. He also spoke to Sarri about the situation and how to turn it around. Lotito now wants to see an impact being made in the upcoming game against Torino, who they take on in mid-week.
