New Sampdoria boss Andrea Pirlo would be interested in having Juventus veteran Leonardo Bonucci at the club.
Corriere della Sera have reported that Bonucci is no longer considered to be an important player at the Bianconeri. Max Allegri and new sporting director Cristiano Guintoli have already spoken to the veteran, having informed him that he is not an indispensable part of the project. As a result, we are now heading towards the end of Bonucci’s time at Juventus.
Guintoli is ready to find a new club for him despite Bonucci having previously stated that he will play for another season. Recently, the idea of him heading to Sampdoria has emerged. Pirlo would like his former teammate at Samp and he wants some experienced players in the side.
At Samp, there would be the promise of him leading a younger backline and playing regularly, while playing away from the pressures of the Old Lady.
