Manchester United came close to January move for Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic

Premier League giants Manchester United had come quite close to signing Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic in January.

AS in Spain have reported that Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on the Serbian striker and they see him as a concrete goal, especially keeping in mind that the Old Lady have financial problems of their own. In January though, Vlahovic had come close to joining United.

The Bianconeri wanted a fee between €100 million and €120 million for the Serbian but the player’s agent had stopped talks and the move broke down, as a result.

Real Madrid are attentive to the player’s situation and they know that they will have a chance of signing him in the summer. The Spanish side believe that Vlahovic could come close to the quality offered by the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, with Karim Benzema not getting any younger and his contract running out in the summer window.
