Manchester United monitoring Roma’s Tammy Abraham

Manchester United are keeping tabs on the situation of Roma striker Tammy Abraham, with Chelsea also interested in the Englishman’s situation.

The ex-Blues star hasn’t had the greatest of seasons this time around but he was thoroughly impressive for the Giallorossi last season.

James Horncastle has reported about Abraham’s situation for The Athletic, stating that United scouts have been attending Roma’s games regularly recently to observe Abraham carefully and from up close. But Chelsea still have the first refusal in his situation and in the current contract and they even have a release clause.

Roma would have to inform Chelsea of any developments regarding the striker’s future because of the first refusal that the Blues have in his deal.

This comes after it was reported some days ago that Abraham is currently keen on winning trophies under Mourinho, whose own future is in doubt at the Stadio Olimpico and he could leave the club if Roma don’t finish inside the top four.
