Manuel Locatelli spotted in Juventus training ahead of Inter showdown

An update on the wellbeing of Juventus star Manuel Locatelli has been forthcoming online this evening.

Midfielder Locatelli has spent the last couple of weeks on the sidelines, after suffering a broken rib in Juve’s win over Cagliari prior to the international break.

The widespread assumption, in turn, was that the former Sassuolo man would miss out this weekend, when Massimiliano Allegri’s men play host to arch rivals Inter in a vital top-of-the-table Serie A clash.

If the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, however, then ‘Loca’ could yet afford the Bianconeri an unexpected boost.

This comes after he was spotted back in partial training alongside the rest of the club’s squad on Friday, news confirmed by Romeo Agresti and more.

It of course remains to be seen whether this means that Locatelli is fit to feature in the Derby d’Italia, though.

Should the 25-year-old miss out, Max Allegri is expected to turn to a midfield trio of Adrien Rabiot, Weston McKennie, and Fabio Miretti.
