Marcelo Brozovic is now set to miss Inter’s Serie A clash against Napoli, as the Nerazzurri restart their campaign against the league leaders.
Brozovic had faced several injury issues in the season, which forced Simone Inzaghi is use Hakan Calhanoglu as the deepest midfielder. Inter find themselves at fifth in the table, with the Partenopei currently as many as 11 points ahead of them in the title race.
Sky Italia have now reported that Inter will have to make do without Brozovic for longer, with the Croatian set to miss the game against Napoli and the game against Monza after that. He is expected to return for the side in their Coppa Italia clash against Verona and he could also feature in the Supercoppa Italiana.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan is also a doubt for Napoli, he things seem positive even though he picked up a rather minor injury against Sassuolo in a recent friendly.
