Milan are now close to sealing their move for France international Marcus Thuram, who has also interested Paris Saint-Germain.
Daniele Longo has now reported that with Sandro Tonali’s move to Newcastle edging close, it has helped the Rossoneri in other departments. They could push for Davide Frattesi soon and a move for Thuram has now also edged close.
Paris Saint-Germain were offering a higher wage to the player but their failure to hire Julian Nagelsmann impacted the move, with Milan now having gained a clear upper hand in the saga. The next few hours will decide his future, with the move now entering the final stages and Milan have gained a fair bit of confidence for the move.
Milan will offer the France international €4.5 million per season, with Stefano Pioli preparing to welcome a new signing.
It was reported earlier today that Thuram’s Les Bleus teammates Olivier Giroud, Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez have also tried to convince him about joining Milan.
