OFFICIAL | Juventus sign striker Arkadiusz Milik permanently from Marseille

Juventus have completed the signing of striker Arkadiusz Milik from Ligue 1 side Marseille.

An official statement from the club confirmed the permanent signing of Milik, who spent a season-long loan with Juventus last term.

Marseille is set to earn a fee of €6 million plus €1 million from the sale of the Pole striker. Being brought in as a backup forward last season by the Bianconeri, Milik played a consistent and significant role throughout the campaign, scoring seven goals and netting twice in the Champions League.

This comes positively as part of manager Massimiliano Allegri’s plan to secure the attacking department for the new season. First-choice striker Dusan Vlahovic’s future has been uncertain in recent times and the signing of the 29-year-old comes as an insurance.

The Bianconeri are now looking to strengthen a few other areas in their team. A move for Chelsea’s Cesare Casadei and Empoli’s Fabiano Parsii is being contemplated in the next few days.
