Milan decide against keeping Aster Vranckx

Serie A Milan have reportedly decided not to trigger the buy option for midfielder Aster Vranckx.

According to a tweet by Fabrizio Romano, Aster Vrankx will leave Milan this summer as the club has decided against triggering the €12 million buy option at the end of his loan spell.

The Belgian youngster spent a season-long loan with the Rossoneri this past campaign and mustered ten appearances across all competitions.

The 20-year-old has a vast future ahead of him and though he will return to his parent club Wolfsburg, he will leave again for newer experience again this transfer window.

Vranckx started attracting interest after making a significant impact with Die Wölfe during the 2021-22 season when he registered 28 appearances and scored two goals across all competitions.

Milan are working to onboard Marcus Thuram and Samuel Chukwueze on their side while a departure for Alexis Saelemaekers is expected during this window.
