Milan are set to reach an agreement with Portuguese side Porto to transfer Mehdi Taremi.
According to a report by Daniele Longo, Milan and Porto are expected to reach an agreement on transfer fees for signing Mehdi Taremi on a permanent deal this evening.
The Rossoneri have presented an offer of around €15 million without bonuses, including payment methods to the Primeira Liga side. Porto were asking for a figure close to €30 million but now they have softened as they are aware that there are negligible hopes for a contract renewal with the player. Club president Pinto da Costa knows that it is better to cash in on the prolific goalscorer now instead of losing him for free next summer.
The 31-year-old has agreed personal terms with the Serie A side and is waiting confidently for the move to progress and conclude within tomorrow.
Following an agreement, documents will be exchanged between the clubs and the transfer will be made official before the window deadline.
