Milan in contact with Paris Saint-Germain for Hugo Ekitike

Milan are interested in Paris Saint Germain striker Hugo Ekitike and are in contact with the Ligue 1 giants.

The Rossoneri are looking to sign another striker this summer, despite the fact that Noah Okafor can play upfront. Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Ekitike is on the club’s shortlist. Chelsea’s Armando Broja is also a potential target for the Rossoneri.

Ekitike remains an option, especially if PSG open up to the possibility of letting the striker leave on an initial loan deal with the option to buy the player permanently. The two sides are in contact about the player but one issue is the fact that Ekitike earns a fairly high wage at the Parisiens.

Because of that, Milan would also want to speak to PSG about the percentage of wages that the clubs will have to pay in a loan deal, to understand how much they can contribute on the basis of how much wage PSG can pay. This is one of the key issues in the deal, as Milan want a striker who is similar to Olivier Giroud’s profile.
