Milan keen on new Mike Maignan contract

Milan are keen on handing Mike Maignan a new contract soon, having been left impressed by the Frenchman’s performances so far in his stint.

Daniele Longo has reported that while the fact that Maignan’s current deal expires in 2026 does not present too much of a hassle for Milan, they want to hand the France international a well deserved renewal soon. Both Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want to secure Maignan’s future at the club using that deal.

He currently earns €2.8 million per season and Milan are set to hold talks with Maignan’s agents in the next few days, with the clear intention of increasing his salary and making him one of the highest paid players in the side.

There has been some interest from clubs in the Premier League and while Tottenham have been linked with the goalkeeper in recent days, Maignan is happy at Milan and he sees himself replacing Hugo Lloris only for the French national team and not at Spurs.
