PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Napoli v Verona

Napoli host Verona today at the Stadio Armando Maradona, days after having lost a vital Champions League quarter-final first leg clash against Milan in mid-week.

While the Partenopei do have a vital game coming up in about three days and even though they are 13 points clear at the top of the Serie A table, they still can’t take the Scudetto race lightly. Verona are right in the middle of a relegation race and at this point of the season, they will not be an opposition that rolls over easily.

Victor Osimhen has been missing from recent games for Napoli but he trained with the side yesterday and Luciano Spalletti confirmed that he will be on the bench for the game against the Gialloblu. Sky Italia expect the Nigerian to indeed be on the bench, but they expect Giacomo Raspadori to start upfront, flanked by Hirving Lozano and Matteo Politano.

Stanislav Lobotka is also expected to be rested for this game, with Diego Demme seemingly set to start in the deepest part of the midfield.

Napoli predicted line-up: Meret; DiLorenzo, Kim, Juan Jesus, Olivera; Anguissa, Demme, Elmas; Politano, Raspadori, Lozano

Verona predicted line-up: Montipò; Dawidowicz, Hien, Ceccherini; Pharaohs, Tameze, Duda, Depaoli; Ngonge, Lasagna; Djuric
