Milan have now finally made an offer for Porto striker Mehdi Taremi as they continue to look to sign a striker this summer.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that after weeks of assessing the player, Milan have put forward an offer to Porto for the Iran international. The offer is at €12 million plus bonuses and Milan believe that because Taremi’s current deal runs out in the summer of 2024, this is the right valuation for him.
The Rossoneri do not want to spend a big amount on the Iranian because they have already spent a fair amount of money in the window and because of the player’s contract.
They expect a quick response from Porto and if it is positive, the deal could close tomorrow. If Porto reject the move, Milan could return for the player in January and sign him immediately for even a lesser fee, as they really like the striker. Porto are expected to respond to the latest offer by tomorrow.
