Roma deny interest in Sergio Ramos

Serie A side Roma are about to seal a move for Romelu Lukaku and that is making the fans dream, but the club have denied any interest in Sergio Ramos.

Reports have stated that the Giallorossi are interested in Ramos and Jose Mourinho wants to reunite with the Spanish veteran. La Gazzetta dello Sport state that the Roman outfit have denied interest or the talk about negotiations with the ex-Paris Saint-Germain man.

Roma want to sign another centre-back, with Ibanez having left for Al Ahli and Marash Kumbulla out until January but it seems unlikely that it will be Ramos. Leonardo Bonucci’s name has also been mentioned but it seems as if three other clubs are more keen on him and those are Lazio, Union Berlin and Genoa.

Ramos is currently a free agent and was linked with a move to Besiktas but that was later denied. His contract with Paris Saint-Germain ended earlier this summer.
